Sarah's husband is an unknown Skinner, likely one of the numerous grandsons (generation #3) of Richard Skinner and Susannah Poulain:

If negro, Frank, pay L25 by Feb. 24, 1733-4 and interest for one year, he shall have right to his wife, Parthenia, and her children. Real and personal estate. Ancestry Unknown, but likely child or relative of 1.2.4.2 Captain RICHARD SKINNER, JR. (ca1740 - 1779):

Received certificate No. 1443, dated June 10, 1784, amounting to L3:3:9, for the depreciation of his continental pay in the Middlesex County Militia during the Revolutionary War. No further information.

It may be this same John Skinner who appears in the 1793 Middlesex Co. census, age 29.
John may be brother to 1.2.4.2.3 Richard Skinner III (the Third), who appears in that same 1793 census.The father of Richard Skinner III, Captain Richard Skinner, also served in the Middlesex Co. militia.

"This was originally the yard surrounding the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen. A number of unmarked field stones supposedly indicate old graves, but there are said to be scores of others without any sign whatever. .....
Skinner, Lewis C., son of Sussana, died January 20, 1797, in 16th year.''

A large cluster of related Skinners resided in central Jersey - primarily Morris Co., by the time of the Revolutionary War. The first to appear are John and James Skinner, below.
