A Look At Stone Harbor Point (Hereford Inlet)
This 1990's photograph shows the total destruction of the original point, and the arrival of new sand that marks the beginning of the growth of a new point.
This photo is deceiving. The unnatural, dark blue color of the water obscures the fact that the sandbar and interior bay was very shallow, and nearly all sand at low tide.
